Easter lunch, and other tastings!
If you enjoy dancing and socializing, don't miss the Zumba classes we'll be holding every Tuesday afternoon this second semester. The start has been more than promising! Release tension and enjoy some time together—you're sure to focus better afterward!
Our Mentoring programs continue to grow
Camplus La Campana's study programs are progressing favorably! This year, the Mentoring Program in Industrial, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering has been strengthened; Biomedical Engineering, Telecommunications, and Computer Engineering have been consolidated; both programs in Economics and Business, both national and international, have expanded; we are maintaining Biology and Biochemistry, also with a Business option; and the Mentoring Program in Biotechnology and Data Science has been strengthened. Furthermore, the Mentoring Program in Medicine has been split into two groups, given the number of students, and this year we have another new program, the Mentoring Program in Nursing. It's a great opportunity to "learn from the best" and bond with students in your field.
Duel between Camplus A and Camplus B
There was a great atmosphere at the university residence league match between our Camplus A and Camplus B teams, and a lot of excitement among the crowd, most of whom were divided. Camplus A took the victory on a day when the players of both teams deserve praise for their sportsmanship during and after the match.
DANA Valencia Food Collection
Camplus Sevilla and its residents have come together to help with this much-needed effort to help Valencian communities in the aftermath of Hurricane Dana. We've set up a collection point for food and cleaning and hygiene products at the residence, and our residents have been incredibly helpful.
Easter lunch, and other tastings!
Before heading into the dreaded exams, we wanted to celebrate an unforgettable end-of-year party. It has certainly been amazing! We had live music by our DJ Rebeca, who gave us the best songs from her repertoire, and an exceptional rap duo, our students Diego and Rodrigo, acclaimed by the audience! There was also a tasting dinner and a 360-degree video photomaton, which was the highlight of the evening.
"Flamenco Air" photo shoot
We launched an activity in which our residents were models for a day. They dressed in flamenco dresses, although some also dared to pose in their suits. A group of photographers training in a course captured the best poses during a very fun day, one that everyone will cherish as a photograph.

Interactive surgery workshops for students
Several Camplus medical students have participated in the Surgery Conference (JOICE), which we sponsor every year. We are delighted to collaborate in an event organized by students, with a very educational theoretical-practical approach. In addition to lectures by leading experts, first-year students have the opportunity to participate in workshops in which real surgeries are simulated. Certainly a very enriching experience.
Winners in the Customer Service category at the "Global Student Living Awards".
One of the new features of this course is the collaboration with the INNOVA group, made up of students who organize discussions with professionals in the fields of business and entrepreneurship. As part of this initiative, we heard from Pablo Sánchez, co-founder of the In3ator project, a platform that promotes low-cost baby incubators in developing countries. It was an extremely interesting event, both from an entrepreneurial perspective, as a startup, and also from a social action perspective.
Participation in the 7-a-side soccer league
The 7-a-side soccer league between university residences is already a tradition. This year Camplus Sevilla will participate with two teams. We have distributed the new Camplus A and Camplus B kits, which have been spectacular.
Winners in the Customer Service category at the "Global Student Living Awards".
These awards recognize the best university residences in various categories throughout Europe and Camplus has been recognized as the winner in the Customer Service category. For Camplus Sevilla, in this case, our priority is providing excellent service to our residents, so this recognition is very important to us.
Welcome party at Camplus Pamplona
Nothing was missing at the new-year welcome party: a tasting dinner, a great atmosphere, and the presence of an exceptional artist, Rebeca, who sang her best songs live and livened up the evening with her disco beats. The atmosphere was so conducive that Rodrigo, one of our new students, burst into life with the best of his repertoire (we didn't know there was a renowned rapper among our students!) A memorable and exciting day!
First Pamplona Campus Mus Tournament begins
Twenty-four couples compete in the 1st Camplus Pamplona Mus Tournament, which has generated a lot of excitement—and enthusiasm!—among the students. Participants will compete to win the coveted trophy and, of course, the pride of being the winning couple of the tournament!
Language exchange classes
This year, we have a wide representation of countries at Camplus Pamplona, which always helps!
Having foreign students helps open our minds to new cultures, overcome prejudices, and
expand our language skills! To this end, we created language exchange classes,
which have been very well received. This year, we'll be able to practice English, French, Spanish, Italian, German,
Dutch, Polish, Ukrainian, Kenyan, Romanian, and even Jordanian!
Completion of the course mentoring programs
This year, 81 students have participated in the various Mentoring programs of Camplus Pamplona. Biotechnology, Biology and Biochemistry, Medicine, Nursing, Engineering I (Industrial, Mechanical and Electrical), Engineering II (Biomedical, Telecommunications and Computer Science), as well as Economics and Business, were the areas of study by majors this year. Beyond the academic support, which is already a lot, Mentoring makes it possible for students to support each other and to bond with the rest of the students in the career.
Women's Camplus, winner of the Rector's Basketball Trophy!
After six years, the Camplus Pamplona women's basketball team has revalidated its victory in the Rectora Basketball Trophy, as did the "winning quintet" that made its debut in the Rectora Trophy. Many campluser@s campluser@s have come to the game to support our female javelinas, who have played with passion, dedication and sportsmanship. You are the best!
Easter lunch, and other tastings!
Next week our residents start their Easter vacations and we wanted to celebrate it with a typical meal of these dates, in which we have not missed the roast knuckle, the flamenquines cordobeses or the traditional torrijas! Thursdays are the day chosen for tastings, which the students are very enthusiastic about! This year we have had a selection of pinchos from Navarre, a buffet of Asian and Mexican food, and we have approached the gastronomy of the Basque Country, La Rioja, Catalonia, Andalusia and the Valencian Community. The palate can't complain!
Betis Basket's recognition of Camplus Sevilla
Real Betis Basketball wanted to recognize Camplus Sevilla, our collaboration with the development of its youth players by giving us an official team jersey and inviting some of our residents to a box at the foot of the court.
Solidarity raffle for earthquake relief in Syria and Turkey
We held a charity raffle in which many residents participated by selling tickets for the raffle for a fantastic smartwatch. The 474 euros raised were donated to the NGO Cesal.
Women's Day Micro-Story Contest
Women's Day is always a date marked on our calendar. Last year we organized a literary meeting with women writers and this time we wanted to transfer the protagonism to our residents by organizing a Micro-story Contest. The winner was Uxue, a 1st year nursing student, with a passionate story that will not leave you indifferent (it is shared on our bulletin board).
Benito Villamarín Stadium Tour
We visited the Benito Villamarín stadium. Our residents have had the opportunity to visit the Real Betis Balompié stadium, enter the players' locker room, sit on the bench, walk on the grass, see the trophy room... They have also been able to learn a little more about the history of this club. A very entertaining activity to relax after the end of the exam period.
Benito Villamarín Stadium Tour
This year's Halloween Party was dedicated to the Mexican Night of the Dead. On this day, Mexico is filled with decorative monuments, honoring deceased loved ones. The activity room became an impressive living altar, where our students danced in surprising and terrifying costumes!
Scape room Camplus Sevilla
A very fun activity with a lot of participation in which our residents have worked very well as a team to overcome all the tests of this scape room. Robbers on the loose in the city have taken over the residence from the "professor's" hand. All groups have done very well, but congratulations to "Los Salmorejos" who have been proclaimed winners.
Second Walking Tour through the city of Seville
We held our second Walking Tour of Seville following the success of this activity last year. This excursion is a very interesting opportunity for our residents to begin to learn about and become familiar with the city where they will be living for the next few years. Furthermore, the participation of some veteran residents and many new ones creates a convivial atmosphere that newcomers will surely appreciate.
Presentation of mentoring programs
Camplus Pamplona's Mentoring programs are starting this academic year 2022-23. Today they did it:
Mentoring in Biochemistry and Biology, Economics and Business, Medicine, and Engineering. And next week we will present Mentoring in Nursing, as well as in Biotechnology and Data Science. At the end of September we will launch our youngest program, the Mentoring in Design and Artistic Creation. Start the new school year with your batteries recharged!
777Backstage: Charity Fashion Event
This Saturday we celebrated the 777Backstage, a non-profit fashion event. Attendees could donate food for the Food Bank. It was based on a concept of inclusive fashion, featuring models not usually seen on runways because they don't fit the aesthetic norm or because they belong to vulnerable groups. More than 150 people joined us for this event, which was enlivened by several music and dance companies.
Surgical conferences for students
For another year, Camplus Pamplona is participating as a sponsor of the University of Navarra's Surgery Conference for Students.
Thanks to this agreement, four of the sixty medical students at our residency were able to attend the master classes and workshops free of charge.
Micro-theater in our residence
The theater sneaks into our residence with the micro-theater play "Culto a la abundancia" (Cult to Abundance), by the company
The Gallinero Theater.
Meeting with women writers
We wanted to celebrate Women's Day by organizing a colloquium with nine women writers from different regions of Spain and Latin America. The discussion covered very interesting topics, such as empowerment and self-esteem, vocation and freedom, and creativity as a vehicle for communication and support.
Awareness and social values
Thanks to our partnership with the Fabre Foundation, we have organized two exhibitions aimed at raising awareness among our students in areas that are important to us. The first of these has focused on environmental protection and sustainable development; and the second on equal opportunities and gender vision.
Valentine's Day Camplusero
At Camplus Pamplona we love to celebrate Valentine's Day. During this day, our students can leave messages of friendship and affection on the room mural we have placed in the hall. They were also able to take the memory of their most affectionate photos in the photocall and enjoy the valentinesca food and the "candy-table".
The men's 7-a-side soccer league kicks off
Our team debuts in the first edition of the league between university residences of soccer 7 in male category.
Participation in the Rector Trophy
Camplus Pamplona has had a large representation in this year's Rector's Trophy of the University of Navarra with three 7-a-side soccer teams. Luck has been mixed, with one of them eliminated in the round of 16 and the other two teams reaching the quarterfinals. We are very happy for their effort and because they have been very well supported by their friends in the resi.
Zumba and Gap Masterclass at our residence
We enjoyed a fun sports activity with Zumba and GAP sessions taught by a professional instructor.
Inauguration ceremony of Camplus residence
We celebrated the official inauguration ceremony of our residence with our residents and with the representation of municipal authorities and different entities of the university community of Seville.
Our mentoring programs begin
We started with our first mwntoring, Architecture. In these programs, to which we attach great importance, students from more advanced courses share their experience with first-year residents, creating a space of coexistence and solidarity.
We resume mentoring programs
As in previous years, we have organized work groups by careers so that veteran students can support and help younger students academically. This year we have Mentoring in Engineering, Biotechnology, Medicine, Biochemistry and Biology, Law and International Relations, and Economics and Business. And as a novelty, we are launching Mentoring in Design and Artistic Creation!
Camplus Seville is now a reality with the arrival of our first residents
After many months of effort, Camplus Sevilla is up and running. Our first residents begin to arrive with equal parts excitement and nerves.
