Carla defines herself as a “science girl”, she has always been attracted to scientific research. She also likes to help other people and has collaborated in soup kitchens and other types of volunteer work.
In high school she realized that the career that allowed her to integrate these two facets (research and social contribution) was Biochemistry. One day she discovered that in Pamplona she could do a double degree in Biochemistry and Business and she loved the idea; the business world is not the one she is most interested in, she likes research, but it is important to know how it is financed!
He has not yet chosen a specialty. He is very attracted to neurology, especially the field of neurological diseases, which is so on the rise! He is also interested in digestive and dermatology.
When she is not studying, Carla loves to learn languages. Speaks Catalan, French, English and Chinese! She has had the opportunity to travel with her parents, she enjoys learning about other cultures!
He also enjoys sports and has been a long-distance runner for many years! In Pamplona he has it “a little parked”… He prefers to distract himself with his friends in the little time that his career leaves him free.
In Pamplona he feels like a fish in water! She has family in Navarra and is in love with this land: “Pamplona is a great city for a student. It has a great atmosphere, it is very safe, and I also like the weather a lot. Everyone is very friendly, the Catalonian people are much more closed (she is from Barcelona). I have made very good bonds with my classmates and there is a very good atmosphere in the residence”.
She is sociable, she has never had trouble making friends! She also likes to be alone, to reflect, the first thing is to take care of herself! She is generous, committed and, in fact, one of our Biology and Biochemistry Mentoring teachers!
