Stasia recalls what she was doing when she received the notification from UNAV about her admission: “I was in Biology class and I started shaking. I couldn’t open the message, I waited until I saw it with my parents, in case the news was negative. I wanted to study at the UNAV, no matter what, because of the prestige of the university. I was interested in the Degree in Pharmacy with international certification and there were not many places. When I found out that I had been admitted, I was very excited!”
Stasia is from Ukraine but had been in Spain for four years, doing her International Baccalaureate in Toledo. When the war came, it was very hard, his family was still in Ukraine: “The war in my country gives me motivation to work hard. I think of the support of my parents who, even though they are at war, consider me their priority and make sacrifices for me to be here. I cannot fail them. In November they came by car from Ukraine. My father is a mathematician, he doesn’t know Spanish or English, he has a hard time communicating. My mother speaks English, but not Spanish. They crossed half the world at war just to see me”.
Stasia speaks perfect Spanish!!! She is very attracted to Spanish culture. Also Pamplona and the residence! “I love Camplus. It is very well located and connected to the city. It offers many services, I don’t have to worry about food or cleaning. I like that it has so many study areas, because I prefer to study with more people. The gym is also great, although I don’t go as much as I would like…”
She has many hobbies. She is passionate about drawing, painting, opera and theater. She also enjoys reading: “I set limits for myself, because books absorb me and I can read until the wee hours of the morning…”. She is very polite and friendly. Likes to be with few and trusted people, prefers small groups and close relationships. She considers herself very imaginative and sometimes a bit lazy! Lovely girl, don’t miss her!!!!
